MIKE NOLAN
Lead Assistant Golf Professional

Mike Nolan has been in the golf industry since 2016, when he attended the Golf Academy of America in Phoenix, where he earned certifications in club repair and instruction. He is currently pursuing his PGA PGM certification as a Level 2 Apprentice. Before transitioning to golf, Mike served with distinction for 10 years as a U.S. Army infantry officer, including multiple tours in Iraq (2007-08) and Afghanistan (2011-12) during the Global War on Terror. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI, and now calls San Antonio home. His wife is actively serving as the Battalion Commander of the Phoenix Recruiting Battalion.

Mike’s teaching philosophy is simple: “See the ball, hit ball.” He focuses on eliminating distractions and maintaining concentration on the task at hand. He believes many golfers hinder their own performance by overthinking, and his approach helps players develop a consistent, repeatable routine, making the game more enjoyable and less stressful.
